Press release - Adverse Analytical Findings for M. Arriagada, J. Medina Andrade et A. Lucero

The International Cycling Union (UCI) advised the Chilean riders Marco Arriagada and José Medina Andrade as well as the Argentinean rider Alfredo Lucero of their Adverse Analytical Findings (presence of stanozolol metabolites) based on reports from the WADA accredited laboratory in Los Angeles in the urine samples collected from them at in-competition tests at the 2011 Vuelta Ciclista de Chile.

Messrs Arriagada, Medina Andrade and Lucero have the right to request and attend the analyses of their B samples.

Under the World Anti-Doping Code and the UCI Anti-Doping Rules, the UCI is unable to provide any additional information at this time.
