Governor of E. Azarbaijan, Mr. Bayghi’s message to Participants of 26th round of Azarbaijan International Cycling Tournament

Along the history, sport has been a valuable activity for all nations and besides healthiness of soul and body, its influence in creation or formation of hilarity and self belief and consolidating social solidarity and deepening the spirit of peace, friendship and brotherhood among human societies is very much apparent.

Azarbaijan International Cycling Tour with quarter of century record is a symbol of this valuable influence which will be able to play a positive and influential role in sporting, cultural and social relations of I.R. Iran with participating countries.

Now, the 26^th edition of this tour is going to be held in a circumstance that continually along many years, as one of the major sporting events of Asia, has played a desirable role in development and strengthening of relations among the neighboring friendly countries, in addition to enhancement and nurturing sporting talents.

I am pleased to take this opportunity to welcome all participating teams in this edition of Azarbaijan International Cycling Tour, wishing them healthiness and success and I hope , the E. Azarbaijan province and glorious city of Tabriz ,with the greatest historical and cultural background to be an appropriate host for this race.

I also would like to ask all people involved in staging this tour to do their bests with precise and orderly planning , so that the optimum staging of this tour to be achieved, well deserving the name of our country Iran and after all, everyone to mention this tour  with lots of good memories , any time after .
