Message of ACC president to International Tour of Azerbaijan2011

The Asia Tours are the driving force behind the cycling activities organized in every country. They are also key elements in the development of the road cycling in our member countries and Asia as well.

These two factors would be in themselves be amply sufficient to describe the importance of the 2011 International Tour of Azerbajan organized in Iran over the last quarter-century. In this specific case, the competition will also enable us to witness the great beginning of another promising quarter-century again with its 26^th edition of well-known reputation.

The Organizing Committee in Iran, which is soaring up as one of the cycling powers in Asia, will be able, as in the past, to put on a memorable series of the Tours and behalf of the Asian Cycling Confederation, I would like to welcome all the participants to the 26^th edition of the International Tour of Azerbaijan which we are about to enjoy here in coming couples of days.

Let me appreciate the Organizing Committee of the Tour for its effort shown organize this Tour, which I belive is to be already remarkable with its passion and hard work. Also, let me deliver my warm thanks to all the members of Iran Cycling Federation, the ... , the vountoors and those involved in making the Tour another dynamic showcase for cycling on this Continent.
